There are different types of flip-flops currently in the market and almost every country has dozens of collections. We have narrowed our list to include only the best of the lot. We do realise that this is our subjective opinion; so if you disagree with us, invade the comment section.
- Birkenstock Gizeh: The only thing going against the fashionable Birkenstock Gizeh is not comfort or style but the huge price point that it comes at. These flip-flops are quite simply the best and most sturdy ones in the market; they give you the best support and are incredibly comfortable.
- Reef Fanning: It takes a lot to come in a close second to an industry juggernaut. The Reef Fanning is second to only one, and they maintain their supremacy over other flip-flops by providing a better heel cushion along with durability in wet conditions. We also haven’t mentioned the best part about these babies; they come with a bottle opener on the sole that is quite simply the best icebreaker ever.
- Crocs Capri V: If you have a bad knee and you are looking for flip-flops that provide excellent heel support then make sure to check out the Crocs Capri V. Also we understand that the Crocs don’t have much going for them these days, but that shouldn’t take away how awesome these flip-flops are.
- Olukai Ohana: If you are going for style and comfort, then these Hawaiian themed flip-flops would be your ideal option. They are incredibly sturdy and quite comfortable compared to a lot of other flip-flops, but if your focus is on comfort, you clearly have better options. But for whatever reason you want to walk the ramp in some comfy footwear, then the Olukai Ohana is quite simply unmatched. There is a disadvantage to the whole thing though because fashion comes at a price and these babies are surely going to burn a hole in your wallet.
- Clarks Breeze: Say hello to the gender-specific flip-flop. The Clarks Breeze flip-flops are designed for women who need a comfortable and stylish option to use every day. These flip-flops provide superior arch support and here is the best part, they are super affordable. The only significant downside is that they lack traction; so we are talking about everyday household use. They are not the best pair of flip-flops on the market, but they are surely a good choice to make when compared to other more expensive options.
Overall we have covered every possible niche within the flip-flop market. There are surely other options that are available in the market, but these stand out for all the right reasons. Make sure to check out our article on how to buy healthy flip-flops as well.
